We finished our “C” and “D” letter of the week activities – and once again, we had a great time learning and playing! We didn’t deviate much from our first week (you can read about it here). There are eight activities total, and here they are in no particular order…
LEGO Duplo Alphabet Mats
I love these because I just print, grab our LEGO Duplos and go!
American Sign Language Alphabet Mazes
My son cannot get enough of these mazes. And he’s LOVING learning the basics of American Sign Language. (Once again we used our ABC magnets for practice.)
Alphabet Art Craftivities
This week we made a Caterpillar and a Dog. My daughter thought the dog was the “most beautiful puppy ever”, which made me smile!
Spot and Dot Worksheets
My children’s favorite time – DABBER time!! I just hand over the dabbers and away they go! (We bought our dabbers here.)
“I Spy” Letter Worksheets
Another great activity to use dabbers for! My son adores these “I Spy” worksheets!
Color By Letter
My daughter loves finding the letters and assigning colors on these worksheets, but she gets frustrated when she can’t stay in the lines. So she gets to boss me around tell me where to color – and I reluctantly gladly help her out.
Alphabet Find
One more dabber activity! My preschoolers can’t get enough of these worksheets!
Alphabet Coloring Pages
We always end our week with these great coloring pages. I let my children decide which supplies they want to use (our favorites are these crayons, markers, colored pencils, and dabbers). They really enjoy having creative freedom and I am happy to let them create!
And that was our week! You can find all of my Letter of the Week activities here. If you missed last week’s post, you can find it here: Letter of the Week Series: Letters A + B.
Are your children working on any fun projects over the summer? If so, I’d love to hear about it – share below in the comment section!
Thanks for the recommendations! I’ll be adding a few of these to our preschool curriculum 🙂
