Grandparent’s Day is this Sunday: September 9th… Looking for a thoughtful and inexpensive gift for the grandparents in your life? If so, this is for you!
Presenting: a Memory Bouquet!
Buy some colorful flowers (I purchased these at HyVee for $6) and attach notes or favorite memories to each stem. It makes a meaningful gift your grandparents can display, and gives them something to keep – even after the flowers die!
To make your own Memory Bouquet, follow these simple steps:
Step One: You’ll need paper, a pen (or printer), hole punch, scissors, string and flowers.
Step Two: Write down reasons why you love your grandparents, or favorite memories on the paper. If you prefer to print your notes you can download my free template here.
Step Three: Cut out the slips of paper (I numbered the back of mine as well).
Step Four: Punch a hole in each note.
Step Five: String each note with ribbon.
Step Six: Attach notes and photos to flowers and – viola – you’re done!
A beautiful and personalized gift for your grandparents! Happy Grandparent’s Day!!
