Easter Egg Bath Hunt

Easter Egg Bath Hunt Who Arted 11

It started with laughing, splashing and excitement… And ended with me fishing poop out of the water.

Despite the extra clean up time, I still declare our 2nd Annual Easter Egg Bath Hunt a roaring success!

(If you have a baby or toddler in your life – you have to try this!)

Here’s how I threw together our Easter Egg Hunt, in less than 20-minutes:

First, I decorated our bathtub with bath crayons. (My favorite are Crayola Bathtub Crayons, which you can purchase here.)

Next, I put a bunch of water proof toys into plastic Easter eggs. Need ideas? In the past we’ve used Matchbox cars, bouncy balls, Little People figures, Legos, and teethers – all were a hit!

Then I filled up the bathtub with warm water and lots of bubble bath!

Twenty minutes later – it was go time!

I put my toddler in and let the hunting begin!

I “hid” about a dozen eggs under the bubbles – which my son found in no time!

Every time he found an egg, he got to keep the toy inside. He had so much fun I had to refill the eggs three times so he could keep hunting.

And that’s it! Another successful bath night!

(Our 10-month old even got to play. She didn’t quite get the concept, but she had fun splashing and watching the eggs bounce around.)

I hope my son isn’t too old to do this again next year! I have just as much fun as he does!
