{ Day 2 } of Teacher Appreciation Week! Today my son and I made these adorable “Thanks a Latte” gifts – including a chilled Frappuccino and a Starbucks gift card – for his teachers.
I can take ZERO credit for this idea. I found it on the almighty Pinterest – originally created by Maria over at Kinder Craze. (Be sure to head over and spread some love! While you’re there check out all of her cute ideas!)
This was too easy to make! And my son got to do most of the work – which he thought was very “big boy” of him. (And when you’re four years old the “big boy” compliment is a big deal!)
Supplies
Here’s what you need to make your own:
- Free printable – available at Kinder Craze (click here).
- White card stock.
- Scissors.
- Coffee beverage, coffee mug, K-cups – the possibilities are endless!
- Hole punch.
- Ribbon or twine.
Note: The majority of the time I purchase my supplies directly from Amazon, mostly because my only free time for shopping is after 11PM! Here are the supplies and links I used: white card stock and colorful baker’s twine. I purchased Starbucks Frappuccino’s and $5 Starbucks gift cards directly from Starbucks.
Directions
As I said before, this is so easy to put together! (I’m giving all the credit to Maria over at the Kinder Craze blog!)
- Grab your free printable. Available here. (Take a few extra minutes to browse – I could spend a whole day on that website!)
- Print onto white card stock.
- Cut out.
- Punch a hole through the printable (and gift card, if you’re using one) and use the twine to attach.
Voilà! You’re done! Total time: 10-minutes.
These are sure to make any teacher smile! (And I’m sure any adult surrounded by two dozen four years olds all day could use the caffeine boost!)
Now I can check “day 2” off my to-do list! Did you miss day one? We gave these cute lip balm thank you cards (click the photo for the printable and instructions):
